Picante means hot, spicy & fiery; essential ingredients for a dynamic event.
Picante create & produce innovative cultural events, presenting the best of UK and International music, street arts and theatre to a diverse range of audiences.
Picante work with a range of clients as consultants, programmers and producers, researching, developing and producing events from quirky intimate performances to large-scale events in parks and open spaces.

Picante have spend the last 3 years working closely with creative development agency Create KX to devise and deliver two large scale multi art form festivals to celebrate the incredible creative journey through the changing landscape of Kings Cross.

Projects have included:

• REVEAL 2010 - a 1O day programme of inspirational events in site specific locations throughout King's Cross - visit www.revealkingscross.org.uk for further details.

• SOHO STREETS 2009 – a promenade production, leading the audience through the backstreets, crooks & hidden spaces of Soho to celebrate Soho Theatres 40^th Birthday.

• BIG DANCE 2008 - the finale to the Mayor of London's Big Dance Festival in Trafalgar Square.

• ARRIVALS - a ten day cultural programme with over 36 events, celebrating the opening of St Pancras International Station and the arrival of the first Eurostar in November 2007.

• CROYDON SUMMER FESTIVAL- a large-scale music weekender with 4 stages of world music & performance attracting a diverse audience of 60,000 people. Artists included; Del la Soul, Nitin Sahwney, Roy Ayers, Ojos de Brujo, JTQ, Rachid Taha, Courtney Pine, State of Bengal, Yusa, Rodrigo y Gabrielle plus club and acoustic stages..

• FUSION EAST - street arts & world music events in Victoria Park & Chrisp Street Market as part of Fusion East Cultural Programme.
